May 5, 2025Justice for Girls and the Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) co-hosted a press conference with the families of Noelle O’Soup, Chelsea Poorman, and Tatyanna Harrison to call for inquests into all three cases. On Red Dress Day, the families formally submitted a request to B.C. Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General Garry Begg, urging a full investigation. The request highlights a pathologist’s review that disputes the coroner’s findings regarding the cause of Tatyanna Harrison’s death.

At Justice for Girls, we believe that real change happens when we work together—across sectors, communities, and generations. We welcome partnerships with individuals, organizations, foundations, schools, healthcare professionals, legal advocates, and policymakers who are committed to advancing the rights and safety of teenage girls. Whether you’re looking to fund critical programs, co-create girl-centered initiatives, or bring a gender-justice lens to your own work, we want to hear from you.
