Team

Justice for Girls (JFG) is proud to have a diverse team of strong, intelligent and inspiring women leading our organization.

Co-Led by Teen Girls

Since our inception, JFG has been co-led by teen girls and young women. Our work is guided by the leadership and experience of numerous teen girls and young women for whom we have advocated and/or who are or have been part of the organization as staff, interns, volunteers, students and board members.

Justice for Girls staff, interns, law students, and volunteers bring together formal expertise, experiential knowledge, legal training, and diverse perspectives to our fight for social, environmental and Indigenous justice for girls.  The unity of our collective knowledge, experience, and passion is what makes our advocacy strong.

Our Expert Advisory

Justice for Girls is very grateful to our expert advisors who generously provide their expertise in support of our advocacy. Our advisors are selected based on their professional and lived experience, relevance of their expertise, and history with JFG. Our advisors are experts in law (criminal, constitutional, family, poverty and prison), human rights, Indigenous rights and sovereignty, Indigenous environmental stewardship, environmental science, forensic psychology, journalism, media & communications, counselling and forensic psychology, health,  education, police and private investigations, cyber investigations,  and more.
