Diane

Diane was going up the wall. She needed to get out of her house NOW. She was excited her 19 year old boyfriend Chris was getting his own place. She knew he would let her stay. She could move her stuff over to his place slowly, so her parents wouldn't notice her moving out.

After about six months of her staying at Chris's place, she found out she was 6 weeks pregnant. She told her boyfriend, he seemed really happy. Now she felt there was nothing to stop her parents from letting her move in with him. She moved with a little resistance from her parents. Her mom was happy " it's good to see Chris taking some responsibility for the baby."

After the baby girl was born, Chris was not at all helpful. "It's women's work to deal with the kids" or "if you didn't want the kid you shouldn't have gotten pregnant." She begged him to help. But he was relentless and sometimes he would push her if didn't want to hear her.

After some time she got pregnant again, she wasn't sure that at this time she wanted to have another baby. Chris assured her that everything would be O.K. Diane thought about it a bit. She came to the conclusion that Chris was pretty good with their daughter. "it must be me, she thought, he's was raised with his mom at home, that what he expects." So she did her best not to piss him off.

Then one day her daughter who was about 4 years old at this point swore at Chris. Chris spanks the girl and then screams at Diane. "What the *%$* are you teaching my kids. "Chris pushes her really really hard up against a wall and starts shaking her. She bursts into tears. This is not all what she wanted for her kids. And for days she is reminded from the bruises on her arms, left by his squeezing fingers.

A few days later, when Chris goes to work, she packs up just enough to get by for a little while. She calls her mom who comes and picks her and the kids up. She doesn't want to be there. But where else can she go. Chris doesn't give her any money.

It only took a couple of hours when Chris gets back from work to figure what's happened. He calls begs her to come back and tells her he knows he has *&^*ed up and he promises that he'll never be violent again. She feels she can't trust him with his promises. She asks him to leave her alone. He still calls her, begging her to come home. After a few days his tone changes. He demands that she come home. And claims he will take her to court and take the kids away if she doesn't come back. Diane decides that she can't take that chance. She goes home.

Kelly

Kelly was going up the wall. She needed to get out of her house NOW. She was excited her best friend Tina was getting her own place. She knew she would let her stay. She could move her stuff over to Tina's place slowly, so her parents wouldn't notice her moving out.

It didn't take her too long before she figured out how Tina was paying her rent. Tina worked in the sex trade, and Tina's MAN Marco took care of her. With a bit of sweet talk and conversations about freedom, it only took about 6 months before Kelly was working herself. Now she felt there was nothing her parents could do to stop her from moving out on her own. She did not tell her parents exactly what she was doing All that they knew was that Kelly had a job of some sort, that afforded her rent.

About a year later, Tina left Marco after some frustrating discussions. Marco approached Kelly and asked her to be his MAIN. After all Kelly never gave him attitude, always made good money, never held out money from him, she was generally loyal. Kelly said O.K. It was impossible to say no, he would probably beat her senseless if she did. Anyway their was some benefits to being the main. You generally got treated better.

About a week later Kelly's friend Alysa got kicked out of her home. Kelly invited Alysa to come stay at her place. Seeing that Kelly made enough money to support herself, Marco, and there generally a lot extra leftover. Marco didn't and was surprisingly excited. It didn't take to terribly long before Marco was Sweet talking Alysa and giving some story about freedom and money. Kelly was furious, this was not at all what she wanted for Alysa. She wouldn't dare tell Marco off.

Alysa was getting really annoyed that she was unable to keep any of her money. She went and told Marco off. Marco backhanded her and then finds Kelly and screams at her " why are you bad-mouthing me. What the *&^* are teaching my girls. " Marco pushes her really really hard up against a wall and starts shaking her. She bursts into tears.
