October, 2020 - JFG Co-Director Zoe Craig Sparrow and Severn Cullis-Suzuki led a delegation including two teen girls, Zoe Grames-Webb and Haana Edenshaw, to speak to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child for their Pre-Session on Canada.
November, 2020 - JFG Co-Director Zoe Craig-Sparrow spoke at Canadian Heritage's funding announcement for the Anti-Racism Action Program.
March, 2020- JFG staff Savanah Norman and Zoe Craig-Sparrow were featured as leaders in BC and champions for gender equality!
January, 2020- The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited JFG to discuss climate justice for girls and the rights of Indigenous peoples. We discussed the importance of a holistic approach to social justice, and the power of young women’s leadership.
