May 2008 Justice for Girls launches a sister organization, Justice for Girls International, a Canadian organization working to promote the human rights of girls worldwide through partnerships and systemic advocacy.

March 2007- Fifty-first session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women releases its' Agreed Conclusions focused on the Elimination of Discrimination and Violence Against the Girl Child. Read Committee's Conclusions

June 2006- UN Committee on Economic, Social, Cultural Rights recommends that Canada give special attention to the needs of homeless teenage girls. Read Committee's Recommendations
